Boudoir photography is WAY more than photos of you in lingerie. It's an experience... no... it's a transformation that empowers you to see the fierce, independent, sexy, badass human that you are. It's about loving your own skin and celebrating your femininity. Each woman's experience is different but the transformation and boost to your confidence is real. There's a little bit of glam and whole lot of body love and self acceptance.

Yep I get it... but look at the women on this site... everyone of them was nervous but they mustered up the courage to book a session and left their excuses behind. When you work with a photographer who understands your journey, "wink, wink", who takes the time to coach you from head to toe, and understands body language and emotive expression, you can relax knowing that you will walk away from this experience feeling confident and beautiful.

Start by taking a look in your closet. (maybe you'll have to dig deep to pull out those neglected sexy undies!) You will want to wear whatever makes you feel sexy, feminine or powerful. You may even have things already on hand that will be perfect but you may also need to go shopping. Our handy guide will head you in the right direction.  Of course we will also help guide you during your pre-consultation call. Plan to bring about 5-6 options so we can help you select the best on the day of. (we'll usually select 3-4 outfits for your shoot (including nude if you like!) You will also have access to our client wardrobe in the studio.

These sessions happen in my studio near downtown Fairfield, Iowa. I have created a number of areas in the studio that are perfect for your experience, with vintage and contemporary furnishings, Plus we change it out all the time so that the sets stay fresh!

Hair and makeup styling is a complimentary service included with your session. During COVID, we are taking extra precautions to minimize exposure by wearing masks and sanitizing.

These are some of the big misconceptions about Boudoir photography. Boudoir is truly for EVERY woman! Your age, size, shape do not define you. This experience is raw and very authentic... you will see yourself as you have never seen yourself before!

At the moment all sessions are booked on the weekends. We typically book one session a day so that we can focus on creating an intimate and powerful session for each person. If other days or times work better for you, please reach out!

Your privacy is important to us and we will only use your images if you give us permission to do so. (we offer different levels of permission too!) All images on my website and social media have been released by the client.

The experience starts at $400. That includes the two-hour photo shoot with Terry, a pre-shoot & wardrobe planning consultation,  hair and makeup, up to four outfits, access to our client closet, direction & pose coaching, professional image retouching and editing, and an in-studio image reveal and ordering session. At your ordering session, you'll get to see all of your gorgeous photos and order albums, wall art, and other products.  We have a wide range of products and collections for you to choose from and our clients typically spend around $1500. Collections start at $900. 

Digitals and Products are sold separate. During your reveal session (about 1-2 weeks after your boudoir shoot) you will be able to make your selection.  You will be able to choose from beautiful, luxury albums (our best seller), metal wall art and more. And because you will probably want more than one item, you can also select one of our curated collections that include a variety of printed and digital items to fit your budget. Isn't it about time for you to give back to yourself while loving your journey?

We all battle insecurities about our body and the subject of retouching is a delicate one. But even before we consider retouching, I want you to know that my mission is to capture you in a way that you love the person you see in the mirror. I pose and direct you in a way to capture your most beautiful self. You get to see yourself in a way you’ve never seen before. Photoshop is a tool we use to give a professional and natural polish to your images. We want you to look like you in the final images.  We will never change your body shape or size as we feel that contradictory to the idea of "body love" that we embrace in the studio. We also never, ever want our clients to think they look beautiful because of Photoshop. We will edit out temporary things such as blemishes and bruises. When it comes to something like cellulite or scars, we consult with each client to see what they prefer.

You must be 19 years or older for the boudoir experience.  After that, the sky is the limit! I feel very fortunate to have had 70+ year old grandmothers come in for a session proving that being a bad-ass woman has no age limit!
